I had a most wonderful birfday yessiday. Despite getting yelled at by a middle-aged woman for a poor parking job, I was gifted many wonderful things. One of which is a bottle of mead! Yes yes yes, that's right. What the vikings used to drink. My friend brews the stuff. It's oh so tasty and sweet. You should look it up online or sumpin' to learn more about it.

I hope you had a really happy birthday on Tuesday. I thought about you many times. I have thought about today being your dad's birthday as well. November is full of great births!!!! Some of my most favorite people were born in November. BTW, we have been to San Francisco and back, and obviously it did not work for us to stay on and come to Eugene. It would have been great. Hopefully some time...
